New Official Video - Amerie - Why R U

Amerie is slowly but surely unveiling details about her upcoming album "In Love & War". The singer announced via Twitter that the first single will be titled "Why R U?" She said:

"Hey everyone! I just mixed the first single…! "Why R U" …I’m sooo excited!"

"In Love & War" will hit stores in July or August of 2009.

"Why R U" is worked on by The Buchanans for Amerie's Def Jam debut album "In Love & War" which is slated to arrive this August. The song has been debuted on her MySpace for free stream since May 11.
